Wow, what a day it was at St Joseph's!
It all started with the children racing to get into school as they were so excited.  At St Joseph's we know that World Book Day isn't just about putting together a great costume idea, it is about sharing the power of reading.
In our assembly led by Miss Curran, we found out that reading lets us discover new worlds, meet new people and learn about the past.  It sparks our imagination, gets us thinking differently and helps develop empathy.  We found out that reading and reading for pleasure is a real "superpower"!
