Following an extensive recruitment process, Barbara O'Connor has been appointed to the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

This is a new position within the management team at the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Academy Trust and will be an
important function in supporting our schools as we continue to grow and invest to deliver high quality education.

Barbara was the unanimous choice by the Trust and Diocese.  Her experience as a headteacher within the Trust and
her recent work on our collaborative support and improvement programme will be an excellent grounding for her future work. 
We wish her every success in this appointment.

Barbara will take up her new role in February 2025.
